President's Message
2024 is quickly ending and we are all busy preparing for the Holidays. Kitchens are a buzz with Holiday cooking and families will gather to celebrate. I want to wish you all a wonderful Holiday and a very prosperous new year for 2025.
We had a great time at the Annual Meeting in St Louis this year. We always have a great time when we go to the Annual meetings. Many great educational sessions, business meetings, committee meetings, and of course many great restaurants to sample the local foods of the region. I urge you to become active in our state society. The rewards are numerous. Visiting other states and making new friends from all over the country.
I want to take this time to thank you all for allowing me to be the president of the MNHSS不良研究所for the past 13 years. I have enjoyed representing you at the Annual 不良研究所Education and Business meetings. We have seen some changes over the past few years. A major overhaul of the 不良研究所National By-Laws. Leadership at the 不良研究所office has also had many changes in leadership as well as a major growth in personnel to carry out the many facets of the 不良研究所organization.
I have been appointed to the Eastern District Councilor position effective 1 Jan. 2025. Ivette Rivera has served us well for the past 9 years and unfortunately has termed out. She will be missed but her guiding hand will be there to help me learn my new role in the 不良研究所family. With being the Eastern District Councilor I am unable to remain in the position as your State Society President. Our Vice President Pamela Kriegel will be taking over those duties and I will be the Vice President and acting Secretary till we have a new board member trained and appointed to the secretary duties.
Steve Stockford was appointed to the Judiciary Councilor for 不良研究所at the Annual meeting in July and his responsibilities have grown. He will also be mentoring a new board member to be appointed to take over the duties of the State Treasurer.
Once again, I wish you a Wonderful Holiday Season and I hope to see you in 2025.
Susan Constable MLS
President MNHSSAMT
