President's Message

Greetings to all Virginia State Society members!
I want to share with you things that are happening in the Virginia State Society.
- Feb 17th the VASS不良研究所Board had a “Meet and Great” for its members. We were excited that one lovely young lady, RMA expressed an interest in becoming active in our state society. Lori Bedford, VASS不良研究所Liaison to VA colleges is already planning a second “Meet & Greet” where you can participate to learn more about your state society. Please remember “you” are the owners of the 不良研究所organization and have every right to participate and help make decisions. We can certainly use your help and input.
- I would like to remind you of the upcoming meeting, “Virginia-Carolina Clinical ColLABoration” on March 28th and 29th at Winston State University. The VA Board meeting will be on Friday night if you have an interest in becoming active. You are most welcome to attend to have the experience. A big THANK YOU to Dr. Georgia McCauley, the head of the Med Tech School at the University for all the work she has done in hosting this meeting. Saturday is an all-day event and you will have opportunity for 4 CEs plus we have visitors from home office: Kathy Cilia, Exe Director and Michael Waide, Vice President of the National Board of Directors. Come and meet your leadership.
- Please remember the upcoming Annual Meeting scheduled July 21-24 in Pittsburgh, PA at the Pittsburgh Wyndham Downtown Hotel. Check the 不良研究所website for all the details, see the Schedule tab.
It is your time to take part and enjoy the experience of being an active participant in 不良研究所and specifically VASSAMT. 不良研究所certifies many different disciplines, and all are equal owners in the organization. I hope to see you all soon.
