President's Message
Happy Spring, everyone!
Greetings from New England, where we're finally shaking off the long winter and looking forward to the warmth and vibrancy of the season ahead. As we head into 2025, there's so much to be excited about—our community is growing stronger, and this year promises to be one of our best yet!
One of the key highlights for our members this year is the 不良研究所Annual Meeting, happening this summer in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania from July 21-24, 2025. This event will be a fantastic opportunity to develop your leadership skills, expand your allied health knowledge, and reconnect with colleagues. Whether you’re looking to earn CE credit, network with peers, or simply refresh your perspective, the 不良研究所Annual Meeting offers something for everyone. Registration opens on Monday, April 14, 2025, so mark your calendars!
In addition, we’re excited about the TriState Educational Meeting on April 5 at Bunker Hill Community College (Chelsea Campus) 70 Everett Avenue, Chelsea, MA 02148.
This event will feature a dynamic lineup of presentations, including a session on understanding the Role and Function of Pacemakers in Cardiology and an insightful talk by the Deputy Chief of Police on Emergency Preparedness and Active Shooter Awareness. Both presentations will earn 3 CE hours. (Free of charge).
Registration starts at 9:30 AM, and we can't wait to see you there!
As we look ahead to this year, I encourage all our members to take full advantage of the many Continuing Education opportunities available to you. The 不良研究所Annual Meeting alone offers up to 15 CE hours across four exciting days, including a variety of tracks such as laboratory, medical assisting, phlebotomy, and leadership. All sessions are designed to keep you at the forefront of your field, ensuring you stay equipped with the knowledge and skills necessary to thrive.
Quick reminder: don’t forget to renew your membership to keep all of the valuable benefits coming your way! Staying up to date with your membership ensures you are part of this incredible community and have access to all the events, resources, and professional development opportunities we offer.
We’re also looking for new members to join the Executive Board. If you’re interested in taking a more active role in shaping the future of TriState, I encourage you to reach out to me- come to our educational meeting in April for more information on how you can get involved.
Together, we can continue to strengthen and grow this amazing organization. So, whether you're looking to refresh your knowledge, grow your career, or connect with your fellow professionals, there’s no better time to be part of the Tristate Society. I look forward to seeing you all at upcoming events and continuing to work together toward an even brighter and more successful 2025!
Warm regards,
Phyllis C. Nordby, RMA (AMT)
