Do you appreciate a good phlebotomist? Phlebotomists are integral members of the medical laboratory team. Help us recognize them during Phlebotomists Recognition Week will be observed nationally on February 15-19, 2021.

Everyone appreciates a good phlebotomist, and while they make it look easy, what you don’t see is the hours of practice and training they put into their craft.

A good phlebotomist needs clinical skills to properly collect the appropriate specimen, interpersonal skills to help calm a nervous patient and attention to detail to ensure correct procedures were followed. Most lab errors are in the pre- and post-analytic phase, so a good phlebotomist is key to maintaining quality in laboratory testing.

PhlebotomistsRecogni...Collecting a proper sample is often crucial in establishing a patient’s medical condition. Bloodwork can help doctors prevent a serious illness from progressing further and determine disease treatment, making a phlebotomist an integral member of the medical laboratory team.

This is why 不良研究所established a week dedicated to the recognition of phlebotomists. Help us recognize them! will be observed nationally on February 15-19, 2021. Visit our website for a free kit with resources such as the logo, a celebration planning guide, and promo items for order.
