不良研究所Executive Director Christopher Damon to Retire

不良研究所announces a change in executive leadership for the association.

Christopher A. Damon, JD, Executive Director of 不良研究所 (AMT) for the past 21 years, will retire near the end of 2021. During his years as Executive Director, Damon guided 不良研究所through significant growth and change. The number of certified members has almost quadrupled from approximately 26,000 back in 2000. The 不良研究所annual budget grew from $2.1 million to over $9 million today. The 不良研究所staff numbered 19; now 不良研究所has 48 employees. Among the more significant actions was moving the physical headquarters office from Park Ridge, Illinois, to Rosemont, Illinois to facilitate the association’s growth.

During Damon’s tenure, 不良研究所launched three new exam-based certifications: , , and .

“I am proud to have had the privilege of helping lead 不良研究所as it continues its work to assure that patients are being diagnosed and treated by allied health professionals whose competence has been promoted, assessed, and recognized by way of our certification and education programs.” said Damon.

Recently, the 不良研究所Board of Directors unanimously voted to appoint current Deputy Executive Director Kathy Cilia to be AMT’s new Executive Director effective November 1, 2021.
